“Our work will be unfinished until not one human being is hungry or
battered, not one single person is forced to die in war, not one innocent languishes
imprisoned and no one is persecuted for his or her beliefs."

Support Groups build awareness and unity. Teamwork is vital in our organizing with the
LPDC, to educate others about Leonard’s case and ongoing campaign for Leonard’s freedom.
The Leonard Peltier Defense Committee is the direct source of contact with Leonard
Peltier, his Legal Defense Team and his supporters. The Leonard Peltier Defense Committee
(LPDC) works with Leonard Peltier on an ongoing basis to continue the fight to
gain his FREEDOM! We seek his immediate release! The purpose of the LPDC is to
serve as the center of communications between Leonard, his supporters, his legal team,
the media, his family and all other relevant groups and individuals. There is only one
LPDC, it is centralized in one office in order to guarantee Leonard’s right to self determination;
however your participation is imperative to our survival and Leonard’s freedom. It
is Leonard’s request that all support groups nationally and internationally work under the
direction of the Leonard Peltier Defense Committee which is presently in the process of
relocating to Lewisburg, Pennsylvania where Leonard is presently incarcerated at the
USP Lewisburg. We want to encourage each and every one of you to join us for our upcoming
2007-2008 campaign and to work with us on ideas, strategy, fundraising, and
public support as well as forming coalitions that work collaboratively towards our main
objective- Leonard’s Freedom. You can help! You can continue to contribute to Leonard’s
freedom as an individual, a Leonard Peltier Support group member, or a solidarity group.
Join us!
